Have you ever woken up from a big night out and said ‘I’m never drinking again!’ Then found yourself waving $50 at a barman by Happy Hour. Well, so have Vic and Hamish.

Vic and Hamish bring humour and honesty to sobriety. These two ex-binge drinking, party animals tell it like it is. Vomit, one-night stands and life on the other side of their own destructive drunken behaviour.

So, if you’ve hit a wall, you're fed up with anxiety, headaches and blackouts or you just need some sober inspiration... then go put the kettle on and learn how to feel the awkward and do it anyway!

VICTORIA VANSTONE

A party girl with a socially acceptable binge-drinking habit swapped glitter boobs for mum shorts to work as an author, blogger, and podcaster.

Victoria Vanstone grew up in 1980s England in a happy home full of laughter, booze and a disturbing amount of fancy-dress parties. From her youthful days downing cheap wine at the local park to dodging disastrous relationships and a messy run-in with a firework, her reliable mate alcohol was never far from reach.

Eventually, Vic found herself in Australia with a husband and a child on the way. After sobering up for her first pregnancy, becoming a boring, bottom-wiping, cleaning machine meant she soon returned to her binge-drinking ways, and had to grapple anew with the habits and beliefs that had gone unchecked since childhood.

She is living proof that a party girl can put down the pint glass for good, be vulnerable and honest and touch the lives of her fellow humans seeking guidance and support in their path to sobriety.

HAMISH ADAMS-CAIRNS

Hamish hails from South London but legged it out of there for the sunny skies of Queensland.

He spent years travelling, drinking, sky diving, sand dune boarding, paragliding and marathon running (yup all before the age of 21!).

Hamish is now a husband, dad and big lover of football, cricket, comic films, stand-up and a large range of music.

After committing to a year of sobriety, he shares the ups and downs of living without the booze.
